General

Body Mind Alkmaar does not provide medical treatment. In the event of medical complaints, you should consult your doctor or specialist before undergoing a massage treatment. Body Mind Alkmaar does not provide erotic massages, clients who do respond to this are immediately requested to leave the practice and are no longer welcome. 
Body Mind Alkmaar cannot be held liable for material and/or immaterial damage as a result of the treatments.  

Intake and your health 

If you have medical complaints, are being treated by a doctor or specialist or if you use medicines that affect the ability to react, you must report this. Important for women: If you are pregnant, or in the lead-up to becoming pregnant, you should definitely report it. Even if the pregnancy is difficult, you should report this prior to the treatment. You are responsible for passing on important information regarding your own health. 

In the event of changes in the client's situation, he/she is responsible for reporting this.

Contraindications 

Contraindications are reasons why someone should not (absolutely) or partially (relatively) not be massaged, unless there is permission from the attending physician and/or specialist. When in doubt, always consult your doctor or specialist. To be sure that you can be fully or partially massaged, a short intake will be taken before each massage. Please note, if the masseur is not fully or incorrectly informed, we cannot be held liable for damage or injury as a result of a massage performed by us. 

Absolute contraindications: fever, flu, diseases involving an increased metabolism, contagious skin diseases, infectious diseases, serious vascular diseases, psoriasis, cancer, thrombosis, use of antidepressants, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, extreme fatigue and exhaustion and (intended) pregnancy. Relative contraindications: open wounds, pregnancy, inflammation, traumatic conditions and varicose veins. Of course, any form of massage with the use of alcohol and drugs is excluded.

Secrecy & Privacy 

When making an appointment, you will be asked for your name, telephone number and/or e-mail address to keep the administration up to date. 

All information you provide during the intake interview and the massage/treatment will be treated confidentially. These will never be passed on to third parties without your written permission.

Massage 

Appointments made can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the appointment. Canceled or forgotten appointments within this period will be charged at 50%. Payment is made in cash or via a 'tikkie', and is paid immediately after the treatment. It is not possible to pay by card in the studio.

Massage studio Body Mind Alkmaar is not responsible for damage, theft and/or loss of personal belongings of the client.

Gift cards 

The gift voucher can only be exchanged for massage services at Body Mind Alkmaar. The validity of the gift voucher is 1 year after issue. The gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash. We only accept original gift vouchers (no copies) and are not responsible for lost gift vouchers and therefore cannot refund them.
